Cactus was a rock group formed by Jim McCarty & Carmine Appice. They released a few very successful albums in the early 1970s on Atco Records. Barely Contained: Studio Sessions is a two CD set featuring the complete studio recordings they made for Atco Records. It features all of the tracks from their first three albums, Cactus, One Way Or Another and Restrictions, plus the studio tracks from their 4th album Ot 'N' Sweaty along with a few other rare tracks. Fully Unleashed: Live Gigs, Vol. 1 combines the live tracks from their fourth Atco album, Ot 'N' Sweaty, with rare & previously unreleased recordings to create a 2 CD set.
