The Cage

Set in Liverpool, The Cage follows Leanne and Matty, two casino employees who make the same dangerous choice: both are secretly stealing from the safe at the casino where they work. When each discovers the other's scheme, they are forced into a volatile alliance built on desperation, mistrust and survival. What begins as a way out of financial pressure quickly spirals into something far more dangerous, drawing them into conflict with the police, a local gangster, and each other. Created by Tony Schumacher (The Responder), the series mixes crime-thriller tension with emotional stakes and character drama, using the neon-lit world of an inner-city casino as the backdrop for a story about risk, loyalty, family pressure and the consequences of one bad decision after another.
